You know that feeling when you've been extremely stressed out and then you finally finish what's been stressing you and you feel this huge sense of relief? That's what I'm feeling now. I love that feeling...well, afterwards anyway.
So, I know this may be a little cheesy, but I'm going to take a few lines to say some things I'm thankful for. After all, Thanksgiving is in two days. Of course there are the big things that I'm grateful for like a good family and friends. Then, there are the little things that you don't usually think to be thankful for. I'm thankful for safety pins. They're so darn handy. I'm also grateful for those times when someone says something funny right before you pray and so the whole time you're biting you're lip to keep from laughing. Finally, I'm thankful for shampoo. It makes my hair feel so clean and smooth.
Ok, you might be freaked out now. Sorry about that. I never know what to say on this thing so I usually end up rambling...hence the name ramshackle rambler. Well, I hope you all have a great holiday. Eat pie until you feel you're going to die and then pull your dessert slot and see if you can fit some more. Happy Thanksgiving!

Not a half bad week
Well, I'm not so sure how good I'm going to be at this blog thing. I keep forgetting to write. I've had a pretty darn good week this week. I'm finished with midterms for a while and I got to go on a date and then I got to compete in the dancesport championship competition. I didn't do half badly either. We made it through two cuts. I even had the time to write my friend a letter. I wonder if it will ever get to him. Australia is far away. Today's dedication is to James and Scott. They've been there for me through this whole blog and I just don't know how else to thank them. (don't feel bad James...last time it was alphabetical by last name. It's not your fault that you're last name is at the end of the alphabet.) Well, I hope everyone's having a great day...all three people that read this. Sweet.

The Creation
First of all I would like to say. Welcome to my blog. I have to start this fiasco with a dedication to Scott and James. Without them I never would have created a blog...really. I'm not joking. The second thing I have to say is a disclaimer on this. I was never meant to be a writer. In my head I like to think that I could speak or write eloquently, but what comes out is closer to a joke. Next, I would like to say that I picked this font because it makes me feel like I'm writing on an old typewriter and that makes me a little happy.
Ok, for today. Today was insane. It has been one of the longest days of the year...literally. We had an extra hour tacked on the beginning. Our family has six daughters and one son. As it turns out I think that God might have been playing a joke on us. Ok, I don't actually think it, but sometimes it feels that way. We like to joke around that we were the damaged six-pack in heaven with a bonus of a son. Today was living proof of that. Four grumpy girls riding in a car for an hour and then joining a mother, and another pregnant sister does not add up to a good time. I know at least two of us cried today. Other than that today wasn't bad. I got to go to Stake Conference and take picture notes and draw stick figure animals, and I got to flirt a little. Well, for my first blog it may be long...and rambly, but don't say that the name didn't warn you. Chow (that's right...like puppy chow)
